Social Sharing and Connecting for Bloggers-Take Advantage of it
Social sharing and connect buttons for bloggers are so easy to put in place. If you are not using them, it is like having a radio station with no channel for listeners to tune in to. In today’s online world it just makes no sense to not use them. They are free to use and it is as easy as using any other plugin on your word press site.
My preference for social share buttons come with the installation of Jet Pack. Although there are many other tools to use with Jet Pack such as site stats and mobile website configuration, the share buttons are what I really like to activate. Shareaholic is another plugin that many bloggers seem to like using. They are visually pleasing and work great as well.
When it comes social sharing and putting connect buttons on your blog, it is important to get them to the top of your blog. Some readers may not get past the fold on your page and if your social media connect buttons are the first things that are seen, your readers are more likely to connect with you where they feel comfortable. Social Media Widget is the one that I choose to use. There are plenty of options with this widget and it is extremely easy to use.
Give your followers a choice. They may not be a Twitter user and prefer LinkedIn, or they may use Pinterest most often. Facebook always seems to be the norm, but I assure you that connections will happen on more platforms if you give readers that choice.
