You are awesome at what you do. You consider yourself to be one of the top businesses in your niche. Does that mean that you have to be the one to provide every piece of content out there about your niche, or is it okay to use other people’s content as well? Lets put it this way…If you try to be the source of every piece of content that goes out to your fans and followers, you are not only going to be exhausted and frustrated, but you will eventually run out of things to provide.

Social Credibility is gained by the things that you share with your audience. Even if you are not the owner of the content that you share, at least you thought it was relevant and important enough to share with your audience. This is what builds social credibility.

There is absolutely no reason to not share if the content is good. If you are in fear of someone else taking business away from you, do not worry. If someone chooses to do business with a competitor because you shared some of their info, then you were not meant to do business with them in the first place. It is not about who is better or knows more. It is about relationships, and what YOU have established with your audience beforehand. It is up to your brand to make them loyal enough to not stray.

Look at it this way… in terms of music you have a heavy metal company and heavy metal fans. Your fans love you. Lets Just Call You Ozzie!!! Just because they love you does that mean that they should not go to an AC/DC Concert? No… Let them jam to AC/DC… Rock Out and they will still have the resident CD in the player from Ozzie! Good stuff is good stuff!

The sales background that Morgan comes from is the building industry which led to sales in the automotive industry. Through his years of experience he has learned that in business it is all about relationships and the trust that comes from those relationships is what makes sales and referral business happen.
