From time to time we come across situation as marketers or professionals in our niche that don’t quite sit right. Well today that happened to me. I was reading an awesome post on a friends wall, and it was a really good tip for business and keeping in touch with prospects.

Needless to say, someone (Names Will not be Mentioned) decided to come on the this thread and start posting about another way to keep in touch with people as an add-on to what had already been said. It might have been a value add at this point, but when the comment states.. “Contact Me For more Info” Is when it becomes a little bit over the top.

Marketing 101…. Using the Example written above, when someone uses your post on your wall as an opportunity to pull business towards them… IT IS SPAM.

If it is not right in Marketing 101, In Marketing 202 it is not either.  Spam is Spam and it Stinks No Matter Where You Are!
